Crafting Kindness for Centennial Children’s Hospital
Together, we became the rainbow after the storm.
This summer, The Manna Foundation had the incredible privilege of organizing a Craft Drive for the young patients at Centennial Children’s Hospital — and thanks to the overwhelming generosity of our Robertson County community, a wave of color, creativity, and kindness came shining through brighter than ever!
From churches and civic groups to families and individuals, so many stepped forward with open hearts. Craft kits, crayons, stickers, paints, and more poured in — transforming into brushstrokes of joy in the lives of children facing some of life’s toughest storms.
Partner Spotlight: Sydnie Epstein
A very special thank you goes to Sydnie Epstein, Certified Child Life Specialist at The Children’s Hospital at TriStar Centennial, for being such an amazing partner. Sydnie provided us with a list of supplies directly from the children themselves, ensuring that every item met a real need.
On the day of delivery, her excitement was contagious. She shared that they had just run out of crayons the day before — making our donation perfectly timed! Sydnie was especially thrilled about the beading supplies, noting how much the kids would love them. Her passion and dedication are a true reminder of why this work matters so deeply.
“The kids are going to be thrilled!” — Sydnie Epstein
These supplies may appear simple, but in the hands of a child, they become extraordinary. They spark laughter that fills the room, fuel imagination without limits, and remind young hearts that even after the rain, there are always rainbows waiting to shine through.
To everyone who gave, shared, and supported this effort — thank you. Your kindness didn’t just fill boxes with supplies; it filled hospital rooms with light, color, and hope. You helped The Manna Foundation deliver more than donations — you delivered moments of magic that children and families will remember long after the crafts are complete.
Because of you, we’re not just crafting projects.
We’re crafting rainbows of joy, bursts of hope, and brighter tomorrows for children who need them most.
